Since the first touchpoints I had with Zurich’s employees, I felt impressed by their down to earth mentality
and also by their interest in my personal- and professional growth. Now, that I have been working for Zurich for several months, I can only re-emphasize the great working culture and seemingly endless career opportunities. From the very first day on I could reach out to employees at all levels, and they were always welcoming and made it possible to schedule a personal meeting. Furthermore, since day one I am actively involved in compelling projects of my choice, where I take over responsibility while having an impact.
What started as a job listing on LinkedIn, was the beginning of a real adventure.
From my initial first contact with the NextGen Team to the interviews with the hiring manager, it all felt very welcoming. Where the interviews and assessment were online, my onboarding would be on site in the new spectacular Zurich headquarters. My first day started with a welcome lunch with the whole team, a great way to get to know each other. Everyone from the IT department to the other Zurich employees I met during my first day, made me feel very welcome and part of a purpose-driven organization. By now, I experienced my first two weeks at Zurich and can honestly say that I feel privileged to be part of the Zurich team.
Being new to the company and the corporate environment, I felt a sense of welcome throughout the entire company.
Everyone I have interacted with has been very kind and more than willing to help me. Being a part of the claims team has given me the opportunity to explore risk management which has given me an idea of what I see myself doing after the apprenticeship program. In addition, Zurich truly cares about their employees and their wellbeing. They offer an employee assistance program so if anyone is struggling with issues at work or outside of work, Zurich has resources to help them.
