Press Release
Swindon, November 2006 – Zurich International Life Limited (ZIL) is to add 40 new fund links to its Mirror and International Wealth Account (IWA) platforms, to further enhance the company’s global investment proposition.
The move, which will see the introduction of a range of funds from leading investment houses such as Schroder Investment Management, JP Morgan Asset Management and Henderson Global Investors, is the result of ongoing feedback from ZIL’s offices and partners globally.
The funds, which will be available from November 2006 through a range of ZIL products including Vista and IWA, focus on four main areas:
- Emerging markets – strengthening this asset class with the addition of six fund links, including ABN AMRO Asset Management and Schroders emerging market equity funds.
- Property – diversifying the offering by announcing the addition of Schroders and Henderson property equity funds.
- Europe – expanding the offering by introducing links to the popular JP Morgan Europe Small Cap and Euroland equity funds.
- Bonds – widening their appeal by linking to interesting fixed income funds from Henderson and New Star.
Martin Davis, Chief Executive Officer of ZIL, said: “Our overall aim in constructing fund ranges is to enable financial professionals to build well-diversified and well correlated portfolios, aligned to their clients needs. We believe that the addition of 40 new fund links, in total, across the Mirror and IWA fund ranges fulfils this.”
“These latest fund additions allow us to build on our proven track record of providing broad choices across fixed income and equities sectors. We have always been keen to create greater access to the emerging Europe, property and bond sectors and are convinced that acting on intermediary feedback will provide a sturdy base for further expansion of our fund range”.
