Nomination of beneficiary

Under the Insurance Act, policy owners can nominate beneficiaries for their insurance policies at the time you buy a policy or at any time after the policy is issued under Section 49M of the Insurance Act.

Your policy must be effected by you as the policy owner on your own life and you must be at least 18 years of age to be able to make a nomination.
