Fund objective
The fund seeks long-term returns from capital growth and income through investments in equities and equity equivalent securities from the BRIC countries: Brazil, Russia, India and China (including Hong Kong SAR). The portfolio is concentrated and actively managed, aiming to achieve total return to investors without reference to a benchmark or to market index weightings. The investment process is a combination of top-down country allocation and bottom-up stock selection. Valuation discipline is at the heart of the overall process. There are no capitalisation restrictions and it is anticipated that the sub-fund will seek to invest across a wide range of capitalisations.
