Part of corporate responsibility is understanding the connection between a company's interests and those of society, and taking corresponding actions. These efforts are known around the world by different names, such as community and civic involvement, social and cultural engagement, philanthropic and charitable commitment, corporate voluntarism, environmental stewardship, CSR and sustainability.
