Geoff Riddell, CEO, Zurich Global Corporate

Geoff Riddell heads Zurich’s Global Corporate Business and is responsible for capitalizing on business opportunities created through Zurich’s unique transatlantic capabilities and extensive global network.

Geoff Riddell joined Zurich in the United Kingdom in 2000 to head the Commercial Insurance business. Shortly thereafter he was appointed to head the Corporate and Government business segments. In November 2002, he was named CEO of General Insurance in the UK, Ireland and Southern Africa.

Before joining Zurich, Geoff Riddell held senior international positions at American International Group (AIG), where he worked in corporate business, reinsurance and personal lines, as well as finance, IT, strategic planning and administration. He is also a member of the Association of British Insurers' General Insurance Council.
