Economic shocks have unleashed cyclical and structural changes of historic proportions across the world. The World Economic Brainstorming (WEB) will examine the key characteristics of the new economic landscape through a series of boardroom-style roundtable discussions and the use of an electronic voting system. Discussion topics include:

How deep and broadly based is the global economic slowdown?
How significant is the risk of a deflationary spiral in the U.S. and other countries most affected by the credit crisis?
How much fiscal space do G20 governments have to jump-start global growth?

Among the panelists for this is Geoff Riddell, Member of the Group Executive Committee, CEO of Asia-Pacific & Middle East (APME) and Chairman of Global Corporate (GC).
