Appointment to Enlarged Group Executive Board

Zurich, September 15, 1999. - Thomas Kaiser (1949), Head of the Corporate Customer Division at Group Head Office in Zurich since mid August 1999, was appointed member of the Enlarged Group Executive Board. The appointment underlines the importance of the Group’s corporate customer business. The Zurich Financial Services Group aims at further strengthening its position in this important segment by offering comprehensive solutions in financial protection to corporate customers.

Thomas Kaiser, a US citizen, joined Zurich’s US organization in 1998. Most recently, he was CEO of Enterprise Risk, a Zurich U.S. unit providing solutions to national and international commercial and corporate customers.
