Francis Bouchard appointed Global Head of Corporate Communications

Zurich, December 8, 2005 – Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) announced the appointment of Francis Bouchard (age 39) to the newly created position of Global Head of Corporate Communications, effective January 1, 2006. In this new role, Francis Bouchard will have global responsibility for developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies, and building an integrated communications platform. He reports to E. Randall Clouser, Group Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Global Communications.

Francis Bouchard joined Zurich in 1998 as Vice President of Federal Affairs in the United States. Earlier this year, he was appointed Head of Government Affairs for the General Insurance platform.
