Kevin Hogan appointed CEO Americas for Global Life

Zurich, November 26, 2008 – Zurich Financial Services Group (Zurich) announces the appointment of Kevin Hogan (46, US citizen) to the position of CEO Americas for Global Life, effective December 1, 2008. In this newly created role, he will lead Zurich’s Life insurance business in North and South America, and will develop new market opportunities in this region. Mr. Hogan will be based in New York and will report to Mario Greco, CEO Global Life.

Mr. Hogan joins Zurich from AIG, where he most recently was Chief Distribution Officer for AIG Foreign Life and Retirement Services, located in New York. He had worked with AIG for 24 years and held a variety of executive positions among others as Senior Life Division Executive for China and Taiwan, Chief Operating Officer for American International Underwriters, and President of AIG’s Worldwide Accident & Health division. Mr. Hogan is a graduate of Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, USA.
