Industry Insight is Zurich's online publication. It has been developed to promote greater awareness of current issues that affect both insurers and the insured. The articles featured are based on a broad range of insurance and risk-related topics, which Zurich believes are particularly relevant in today’s business environment.

Where can I find information regarding Zurich's history? An overview of the Group's history can be found in our About Zurich section. Zurich history book and CD-Rom: On its 125 year anniversary in 1997, the Zurich Group published an easy reading history book documenting its development against the historic background of the European insurance industry. You may also want to learn about Zurich's history with a CD-Rom. At our headquarters at Mythenquai 2 in Zurich,we also have 'Explorama': an interactive, multimedia exhibition on our Group's history. It is supplemented by educational and informative modules on the insurance industry.

Why do we not use "ZFS" as an abbreviation for Zurich Financial Services?
Zurich Financial Services does not use the acronym "ZFS" because another company has trademarked a very similar acronym which could risk confusion to the public.
We therefore use "Zurich" as a short substitute for Zurich Financial Services.
