Zurich opens representative office in South Korea

Zurich, January 22, 1998. - The Zurich Group has received approval from the local authorities in South Korea to open a representative office. The new office in Seoul will consult Zurich’s international customers in South Korea and work towards receiving a business license.With this move Zurich underlines the long-term significance of the Asian market and its confidence in South Korea as a major industrial and financial center in this region.

Zurich’s operations in Asia include representative offices in China, Vietnam, India and South Korea and branch offices and subsidiaries in Guam, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and an affiliated company in Thailand.
