Analyst Event in Zurich

Zurich, January 25, 2002 - Zurich Financial Services ("Zurich") today is hosting an Analyst Event in Zurich. Its purpose is to update analysts and investors on the new format of segmental disclosures, which will be applied for the 2001 financial results and onwards. The new format will provide greater transparency by disclosing detailed information on eight business segments including for the first time, the "Corporate", "Centre" and "Capital Markets & Banking" segments. In addition, historical equity and ROE will be disclosed by segment, also for the first time.
