Global Risk Engineering Conference 2010

Risk engineering that delivers resilience

This event took place in June 2010 in Madrid, Spain.

Background and participants

The Conference is a forum for our customers and staff to work together to examine emerging risk topics and developments. In 2010 the conference attracted over 150 participants from around 25 countries and as well as over 100 customers, included delegates from Risk Engineering, Claims  Underwriting, relationship leaders, brokers and suppliers.

Workshop program

With a packed program of keynote and short presentations presented by external experts, Zurich staff and by our customers, topics focused on the operational and strategic aspects of risk that impact business and also looked at some of the elements currently shaping the global risk landscape. Risk Engineering that delivers resilience' was the overall theme of the event with the goal of helping our customers achieve resilience and inner strength within their operations.

Customer contribution and participation

The steering committee that developed the program included several global customers, and by working so closely with them that we delivered an experience that was truly customer focused and relevant.
