How does the game work? Well, simply put, you will perform a top-down risk analysis to help a company systematically identify the vulnerabilities facing it. The entire spectrum of risk is considered including physical risks, market risks, financial risks, and legal risks.
Once vulnerabilities are identified, the corresponding risk is determined. This is just the probability and severity associated with each vulnerability.
When you determined the risk, it is plotted on the risk profile matrix. As you move to the right and upward, the probability and severity increases; therefore, the risk increases. Ultimately, the company wants to pay particular attention to the vulnerabilities with the most risk. These vulnerabilities present the greatest threat to the company's profits and financial stability.
