Banks are regulated under the Banking Act 1998 of the Isle of Man and there’s a deposit compensation scheme.

If a bank fails, investors may be compensated for up to 75% of amounts up to GBP20,000 or currency equivalent.

Deposits made with Zurich Bank International Limited are covered by the Depositors' Compensation Scheme contained in the Banking Business (Compensation of Depositors) Regulations 1991.
