In addition, we are engaged in the sport at a local level around the world through small sponsorships, golf outings and hospitality programs.
Swiss Seniors Open - Switzerland
The exclusive Golf Club Bad Ragaz hosts the Swiss edition of the European Seniors Tour, a professional golf event for men aged 50 and over. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Swiss Alps, Bad Ragaz is known as one of the most picturesque golf courses on the European Tour. Bad Ragaz holds the record for the longest unbroken run as a host venue on the European Senior Tour.
Zurich has sponsored this tournament since 2004.
Business Golf League – Austria
Zurich is a Company Day sponsor of the Business Golf League – a unique program in Austria. It is the biggest B2B golf event in this country with more than 700 golfers participating. A national final event is included. In 2017, one team of the Zurich Company Day qualified for the overall Business Golf League final at the PGA Village Saint Lucie in Florida taking place in 2018.
KPMG Women’s PGA Championship - USA
Zurich was proud to be a Founding Sponsor of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship for multiple years and continues its support of the event through a guest and hospitality program.
Operated by the PGA of America in conjunction with the LPGA Tour, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship brings together a world-class, annual major golf championship with a renowned women’s leadership summit and an ongoing community initiative to inspire and develop the next generation of women leaders.

Farmers Insurance Open – USA
Zurich was proud to be the official Pro-Am sponsor of the Farmers Insurance Open for multiple years and continues its support of the event through a guest and hospitality program.
Operated by the PGA TOUR, the Farmers Insurance Open is annually considered the unofficial kickoff of the PGA TOUR season and a tent pole on the West Coast Swing. The competition takes place on the famed Torrey Pines North and South Golf Courses, home to the Farmers Insurance Open since 1968 and future site of the 2021 U.S. Open. Zurich utilizes this first class event to host its key customers and brokers, with a focus on the West region, through private hospitality, dinner events, golf outings, business session and much more in beautiful La Jolla, California.
Zurich Argentina Swing – Argentina
Zurich entered into a strategic alliance with PGA TOUR Latinoamérica to sponsor the golf tournaments held by this prestigious golf tour in Argentina. The Zurich Argentina Swing awards the golfer who performs best in the four official tournaments organized by the regional PGA TOUR in Argentina: the Molino Cañuelas Championship in Buenos Aires (March), the Open OSDE Center presented by FiberCorp in Cordoba (April), the NEC Argentina Classic and the VISA Open de Argentina in Buenos Aires (November). It increases excitement about the TOUR in Argentina.
Zurich incorporates charitable efforts on the Zurich Argentina Swing by extending donations for birdies made on the 18th hole for all four of the events to aid in educational development.
