A showcase for Zurich and the cities of Barcelona and Sevilla

In 2016, we are celebrating our 5th anniversary of the Zurich Marató de Barcelona and the 2nd of the Zurich Maratón de Sevilla, already renewed for two more years.

The percentage of runners who are Zurich customers, employees and intermediaries has grown steadily over the past three years, an indication of Zurich in Spain’s success in using the event throughout the year to engage with key stakeholders.

The fifth edition of the Zurich Marató de Barcelona took place on March 13th.

Zurich Spain has reached an agreement with Fly Group to become premier sponsor and insurer of the Donostia San Sebastián Marathon, which is to take place on 27 November 2016.

This agreement extends the company’s sponsorship strategy and its relationship with sport and healthy lifestyles.

Furthermore, by sponsoring these events Zurich shows how the company’s approach ties in closely with the principles of a race like the marathon, where the spirit of the runners, the culture of effort, the desire for self-improvement and perseverance are values that are also embedded in the company’s corporate culture.
