Jason’s impressive rise to golf’s elite has been a constant ascent since he first gained status in the World Golf Ranking Top 10 in 2011, and was solidified when he took the number 1 spot in the 2015 season. Since then, he has remained a strong contender with 12 career PGA TOUR wins to date, including two victories in 2018 at the Farmers Insurance Open and the Wells Fargo Championship. Jason showed resiliency throughout the 2017 season, in which he played through personal family hardships, and ended the season with 12 top-25 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the AT&T Byron Nelson. Jason captured an impressive five PGA TOUR victories in 2015, including his first Major at the PGA Championship, and a win at the Farmers Insurance Open. Following his victory at the 2015 BMW Championship, Day rose to world number one for the first time in his career.
Jason is from Queensland, Australia and turned pro in 2006. In May 2010, he became the youngest Australian to win a PGA TOUR event with his victory at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
Jason’s Foundation, Brighter Days, provides funding and resources to deserving projects and organizations whose missions share the desire felt by Jason and Ellie Day to help families and animals in need.
Jason has been a member of the Zurich Golf Ambassadors family since 2015 and has represented Zurich on his golf bag each week during competition since 2017.
