We support risk management associations because it's important for us to promote a better understanding of risk among practitioners, customers and stakeholders. Our aim is to improve the international standard of risk management expertise.

We see the big picture of interconnected risks and we collaborate with those who care about them. By supporting risk management associations, we are helping to build a stronger community of risk managers. We collaborate with a wide range of leading risk management institutions such as RIMS, Airmic, AMRAE, FERMA and PARIMA.

RIMS the risk management society TM

RIMS, the risk management society™, is a global not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management. It represents more than 3,500 industrial, service, nonprofit, charitable and government entities throughout the world. It organizes conferences and courses and provides resources for risk managers.

The Airmic Responding to Global Risks report

London-based Airmic is an association for people with responsibility for risk management. It supports its members through training and research, by sharing information and encouraging best practice.

As one of the founding sponsorship partners, we worked with Airmic, the Institute of Directors, PWC, and Marsh to prepare a guide for IoD and Airmic members to outline the practical lessons for organizations from the World Economic Forum Global Risk 2014 Report.

AMRAE risk management in France

AMRAE is the national risk management associations in France. Zurich participates in the Rencontres AMRAE conferences and is founding member of the educational section of AMRAE.

FERMA Risk Management Benchmarking Survey

The Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) brings together National Risk Management Associations such as the French Airmic and British AMRAE. Zurich is sponsoring the FERMA Risk Management Benchmarking Survey 2014. This survey aims to benchmark the risk management practices in Europe, providing a tangible basis for reporting to senior management, tracking trends over time and setting up a tool to serve as basis of current relevant knowledge.

PARIMA developing risk management in Asia

The Pan-Asia Risk & Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) is the first and only professional association for risk and insurance practitioners based in Asia. Zurich is a founding partner and is proud to support Parima’s goal of developing and reinforcing the risk management profession in Asia.
