Cybersecurity Awareness Month
Helping young people build resilience in a digital world
Digital life can create opportunities for young people, but it can also expose them to new pressures and risks. BOXX Insurance is working with Z Zurich Foundation, Zurich Canada and JA Canada to help young people strengthen their mental well-being, resilience and life skills.
Supporting mental well-being in the digital age
The collaboration between Z Zurich Foundation, Zurich Canada and JA Canada began in 2022 and was renewed for a further three years in 2026. BOXX Insurance is contributing its cyber expertise to this next phase, helping to address the connection between young people’s mental well-being and the risks they encounter online.
Together, the organizations are supporting school-based and digital mental well-being programs, experiential learning and opportunities for young people to build confidence, resilience and practical life skills.
Building confidence through learning and experience
The collaboration includes the Success Skills Program, the Youth Mental Well-being Challenge, webinars, educator professional development, JA’s Company Program, peer youth summits and alumni workshops. It will also create more opportunities for peers, alumni, educators, volunteers and community partners to contribute to the initiative and help extend its impact.
Creating lasting impact
Over the next three years, the initiative aims to positively impact more than 350,000 people, working alongside schools, educators, young people, alumni and mental health partners.
