Share buyback program
On June 7, 2023, Zurich Insurance Group Ltd (Zurich) completed its share buyback program of up to CHF 1.8 billion that was launched on November 21, 2022 (Program). The Program was for capital reduction purposes and was executed on a second trading line on the SIX Swiss Exchange (Valor: 41 106 710; ISIN: CH041 106 710 8; Ticker: ZURNE).
Under the Program, Zurich repurchased 4,104,413 of its shares for a total purchase value of CHF 1.8 billion at an average purchase price of CHF 438.55.
The Board of Directors of Zurich intends to use the capital band introduced at Zurich’s Annual General Meeting 2023 to cancel the shares repurchased under the Program.

The maximum daily repurchase volume calculated in accordance with art. 123 para. 1 lit. c of the Financial Market Infrastructure Ordinance (FMIO) was 72,032 shares.
