Cara Morton has an extensive background in strategic business transformation and leadership within the insurance industry. She assumed the role of CEO Zurich Global Ventures and became a member of the Executive Committee in February 2024. Prior to this, she served as CEO of Cover-More Group, part of Zurich Global Ventures, from April 2020 to February 2024. She initially joined Cover-More in July 2018 as interim CEO of World Travel Protection and then became COO of Cover-More in November 2018, a role she held until April 2020 when she was named CEO. Before joining Cover-More, Ms. Morton held various senior leadership positions at QBE Insurance Group from 2014 to 2018. Her roles at QBE included group head of transformation and change, group head of strategic transformation, and ultimately group head of operations. Ms. Morton began her professional career at Accenture, formerly known as Andersen Consulting, in Brisbane in 1991. She remained with the company until 2014, during which time she led projects for global banking and insurance companies, including serving as managing director of the finance and performance management consulting business across Asia Pacific.
